Warranty Policy
Galvanix stands behind the quality of every product we manufacture. This policy defines the scope and terms of our product warranty.

1Warranty Coverage
Galvanix Doors Trading L.L.C (“Galvanix”) warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions, for the duration specified in Section 2 of this policy.
This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2Warranty Period
The standard warranty periods for Galvanix products are as follows:
- Structural components (slats, guides, housing): Twelve (12) months from the date of delivery or project completion, whichever is later.
- Motorized systems and controls: Twelve (12) months from the date of commissioning, subject to the original equipment manufacturer's warranty terms.
- Hot-dip galvanized finish: Subject to environmental conditions; Galvanix warrants against manufacturing defects in the galvanizing process for twelve (12) months.

3What Is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials used in the production of our shutter systems.
- Structural failures or deformations arising from proven manufacturing errors.
- Defects in welds, fastenings, or assembly that impair product functionality.
- Failure of the galvanized coating due to defects in the hot-dip galvanizing process (not environmental exposure or surface damage after delivery).
4What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper installation by parties other than Galvanix.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
- Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, minor dents, or cosmetic variations.
- Corrosion or surface degradation caused by coastal salt exposure, chemical contact, or harsh environmental conditions beyond standard UAE climate parameters.
- Damage arising from improper maintenance or failure to follow our maintenance guidelines.
- Consequential damage to property or third-party losses arising from product failure.
- Products that have been repaired or modified by unauthorized parties.
- Damage caused by acts of God, structural building movement, or third-party construction activities.
5Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, the customer must notify Galvanix in writing within the applicable warranty period. Claims submitted after the warranty period has expired will not be accepted.
When submitting a warranty claim, please provide:
- Original order reference or project number.
- Date of delivery and/or installation completion.
- A detailed description of the defect or issue.
- Photographic or video evidence clearly showing the defect.
- Any relevant delivery or commissioning documentation.
6Warranty Service Procedure
Upon receipt of a valid warranty claim, Galvanix will assess the issue within a reasonable timeframe. Our team may request an on-site inspection before determining the appropriate remedy.
Where a warranty claim is approved, Galvanix will, at its sole discretion, elect to:
- Repair the defective product or component;
- Replace the defective product or component; or
- Issue a credit or partial refund for the affected item.
Galvanix will not be responsible for any costs associated with third-party labour, access equipment, or site preparation required for warranty remediation unless expressly agreed in writing.
7Limitation of Warranty
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Galvanix. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable UAE law, all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed.
Galvanix's liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective product. In no event shall Galvanix be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to any warranty claim.
8Maintenance Obligations
To maintain warranty validity, customers are advised to:
- Conduct routine visual inspections of the shutter system at regular intervals.
- Keep guide rails and mechanical components clean and free of debris.
- Lubricate moving parts in accordance with our product care guidelines.
- Report any operational issues promptly before they escalate into structural concerns.
Failure to maintain the product in accordance with our guidelines may affect warranty validity.
